YouTube Tests New Product Tags for Shorts

Reporting from Social Media Today, YouTube Short released a product tag feature to monetize YouTube Short.

This new feature is a useful new experiment for content creators.

On YouTube short content creators can mark or tag products that are in YouTube short clips to buy.

Previously, YouTube had been testing this new feature on selected content creators in the United States.

Then viewers of YouTube Shorts in the United States, Brazil, Canada and Australia can see the tags embedded in YouTube Short clips.

This feature was created to get around advertisements in the middle of videos which are relatively more difficult to place on short videos such as YouTube Shorts.
